You is kind. You is smart. You is important.
Life is giving you so many challenges, one after the other since birth until you leave this world forever. Each and every challenge you get, becomes harder than the previous one as we grow older. You may feel like giving up when you are unable to succeed the given challenges.
As for me, right now I find it much difficult to make sense out of what's going on in my mind and to put them in the correct order in the first ever article that I am going to publish here in my very first blog.
When I refer to life challenges, I mean every one of them: like getting through your college, getting a first class degree, losing a loved one and also challenges like skipping your meals, not logging into your Facebook account for 24 hrs (a much difficult challenge it has become 😉), getting directions from an unknown person while you are on the road etc. Each and every one of them counts no matter how big or small it appears to be. It matters. It matters to YOU. People may take what matters to you for granted and sometimes you might wonder too; 'was it really an achievement?, was it enough to be satisfied?, should I feel worthy of getting it done?.' Well, the answer is YES. Yes, it really was an achievement. Yes, it was more than enough to be satisfied. And Hell Yes, you really should feel worthy of getting it done!
So my first advice to you is not to worry about what other people think of you and what you do!
Yes, I know. How could you not worry about what other people think of you when they are the only ones you have in your life and you love them from the bottom of your heart.Well, believe me, I've been there and it's hard. But have you ever given some thought as to why we feel so blue when other people criticize and give discouraging comments on your achievements and about how you face life? In my opinion, we get hurt by such negative judgments because we have not loved ourselves enough to arm ourselves when negativity comes our way. It's true we love people around us, but we got to be careful to love ourselves first and to embrace life as it is and face its challenges in our own, unique way. Once you learn how to love and appreciate the inner self, when you find it doing the best it could, for you, you will find it much easier not to get disheartened by what others have to say about you. Self-love is important. It's high time you start loving yourself for who you are and what you do.
So here is my advice,more like a very kind suggestion to all those who question their value based on other people's opinions;
Love yourself first (sometimes it's okay to be a little narcissistic 😋). Be confident. Have faith in yourself. You will get by just fine.
Let the winds blow over you. BUT be as calm as a summer sea.
Love,
Hanz 💖
Nice work. Keep it up
